Originally a news broadcast app, Khabri has pivoted to become an audio-only edtech platform.

The online consumables market, which is currently worth USD 3.8 billion, is expected to reach over USD 30 billion by 2025.

The deal values the company at USD 2.88 billion and is part of the Series F round it kicked off in April when it raised USD 502 million from Tiger Global, Snap, and Twitter.
