We are looking for freelance journalists who have experience in covering technology startups in Southeast Asia. The candidate should be able to pitch story ideas related to startups and VCs, speak to sources, and write compelling and in-depth feature stories. Candidates with experience in covering innovation in other Asian markets have an added advantage.

Responsibilities:

Regularly pitch story ideas and brainstorm with editor(s) to write longform articles on tech and its intersection with culture and people.

Requirements:

Have experience in reporting and writing on topics around the startup ecosystem.
Outstanding written English and journalistic skills.
Must have direct sources in the industry. Attached portfolio links to resume is a plus.
