<a href="/company/xiaomi">Xiaomi</a> will not launch <a href="/industry/ev">EVs</a> priced below RMB 100,000 in the coming years, CEO Lei Jun said, citing higher costs from advanced smart features. He made the remarks during a live stream of the SU7 endurance challenge.

Honda is launching its China-made Insight <a href="/industry/ev">EV</a> in Japan on April 17, marking the first such move by a local automaker. The model offers up to 535 kilometers of range, priced at JPY 5.5 million, with 3,000 units planned for sale.
