Access to credit is still one of the greatest obstacles to the growth of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Vietnam, where only 39% of the SMEs have bank loans.

The report also found that the COVID-19 pandemic has altered consumer spending on smartphones, with more turning to low- to mid-range devices that offer more value for money.
The factory, which has been under development for three years, is now able to produce small-batch orders at reasonable costs and with shorter delivery times for apparel makers.
