Businesses who put Meituan’s power banks in their shops will get more online exposure from the food delivery giant.

As of April 3, the virus has infected 82,804 people in total and caused 3,331 deaths in China. More than 76,000 patients have recovered from the disease.

Meituan made total revenues of USD 4 billion in the fourth quarter of 2019, representing a 42.2% year-on-year increase.

The move is due to “business adjustment” and will take effect since May 31.

Qingzhu was first incubated inside Meituan Dianping but went solo in January 2019 as a separate company.

The platform hopes to launch 1,000 courses in the next three years and reach more than 10 million workers.

New retail, enterprise services, artificial intelligence, and capital management are other sectors included in the partnership.

And bikes have become a preferable commute choice for workers to avoid crowds.
