Chinese electric vehicle maker Xpeng Motors (NYSE: XPEV) said Thursday that it’s shipping a batch of 100 vehicles to Europe, expecting to deliver to Norwegian customers as early as November, in a move marking its first order delivered to the European market.

The model got shipped is its G3i compact SUV, equipped with autonomous technologies such as automatic departure and parking as well as an advanced driver-assistance system.

Nio (NYSE: NIO), Xpeng’s major rival in China, said earlier that it plans to enter some countries that favor electric vehicles in the second half of 2021, with Europe being the first stop, 36Kr reported citing its CEO and founder Li Bin.

Earlier this year, Aiways, one of the many Chinese EV up-and-comers, sent 500 units of its U5 Model to France, making it the first Chinese EV brand to enter the European market.
