Digitalization has the power to turn the food supply chain into an integrated ecosystem.

This week, I spoke with CEO of Novitee, Benjamin Yang, who shared more about the company’s new B2B digital marketplace, KoomiMarket.

Launched in October 2022, KoomiMarket is a one-stop procurement platform that helps F&B businesses source and purchase directly from food wholesalers.

By leveraging digital technologies such as AI, big data, and fintech solutions, the platform also aims to improve the efficiency and sustainability of the food supply chain in Southeast Asia. Notably, digitalization paves the way for interoperability, a characteristic that allows diverse services and devices to connect and exchange information, to enhance the overall transparency and traceability in the food production value chain.
