The Panelists

Jeff Lin is senior principal at iGlobe Partners. He has over 15 years of experience in telecommunications and technology, management consulting, and VC investment. Before joining iGlobe in 2014, Lin was with Roland Berger Strategy Consultants, where he worked on strategy consulting projects for the Myanmar government and MNC clients in Southeast Asia.

iGlobe Partners is a leading Asia-Pacific VC firm headquartered in Singapore. iGlobe’s portfolio includes names such as Unity, Hoolah, and UBlox.

Sally Yang is a co-founder of Amy Robotics, which develops service robots that enhance quality of life. Amy Robotics’ products include domestic service robots, rehabilitation robots, robots for use in households, hospitals, hotels, museums, and public service providers. To date, the company has raised RMB 50 million (USD 7.8 million) over several financing rounds.

Before co-founding Amy Robotics in 2017, Yang was a project manager at Bright Oceans Inter-Telecom Corporation and a system engine supervisor at Motorola Hangzhou.

The Moderator 

Wong Choon Yue is the director of Maju Robotics, which designs and builds humanoid and service robots in Singapore. He has 18 years’ professional experience in robotics, research, and project management. Wong previously developed robots for various applications, such as search and rescue missions, sewer inspection, and logistics.
