An anonymous <a href="/industry/ai">AI</a> model called Hunter Alpha has surfaced on OpenRouter, driving speculation it may be <a href="/company/deepseek">DeepSeek’s</a> next system. The model claims a scale of one trillion parameters and has processed over 160 billion tokens, though analysts said evidence linking it to DeepSeek remains inconclusive.

Beingmate said its controlling shareholder has signed a restructuring agreement with a Jinhua state-backed investor, which could shift control from founder Xie Hong to Jinhua's state-owned assets regulator if approved. The deal includes RMB 856 million for equity and additional funding to address debt issues.

<a href="/company/pop-mart">Pop Mart</a> and Sony Pictures will develop a feature film based on Labubu, expanding the popular IP into entertainment. The live action and CGI hybrid is in early development, with Paul King attached to direct and co-write.
