Douyin sets up safety and trust center

Douyin E-commerce has launched a safety and trust center to enhance transparency and governance while protecting merchants, creators, and consumers. Its first update outlined penalties for blind box live stream violations and announced new safeguards to prevent minors from being induced into risky purchases. More than 4,000 shutdowns and 1,000 account removals have been reported in 2025 to date.
