As part of the Alibaba Cloud Startup Catalyst Program, Alibaba Cloud will be organizing an online event titled “Catalyst Connect: Business Beyond Borders,” scheduled for December 12, 2023, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. (GMT+8).
Organized in partnership with KrASIA, this event aims to provide startups and companies with the essential tools and insights required to navigate the intricate landscape of global expansion.
“Catalyst Connect” reflects Alibaba Cloud’s dedication to acting as a catalyst for the global growth of businesses, providing them with resources and a network. “Business Beyond Borders” is the first of this series and will host participants across diverse industries, offering a unique platform to explore and discuss strategies for international growth in Asia.
This event will feature distinguished speakers from regional trade and investment agencies including the Indonesia Investment Authority, InvestHK, the Tokyo Metropolitan Government and the Japan Exchange Group. They will be presenting about the unique investment opportunities and beneficial support in the region.
There will also be a panel featuring companies that have ventured into new territories. Moderated by Vertex Ventures Southeast Asia and India, speakers from Pop Mart, 6Estates, and Alibaba Cloud will be sharing their knowledge and personal experience, offering guidance to businesses looking to enter new markets. This discussion will cover the following:
- Insights into local regulations and cultural nuances to inform effective strategies.
- Valuable incentives and benefits that can enhance your business operations.
- Local networks that can be leveraged to establish a robust market presence.
