The Alibaba Cloud x KrASIA Global Startup Accelerator is a series of Demo Days that identifies startups that are compatible with Alibaba’s ecosystem. Bringing together Asia’s venture capitalists and entrepreneurs, the program has attracted more than 800 applicants over the past few months.
The companies that vied for spots at these events operate in healthcare, education, enterprise services, environmental sustainability, and many more sectors. This time, we will focus on teams that are creating solutions for users and clients in the Philippines.
Registration for the next Philippines Demo Day—which is specifically for startups based in, operating in, or planning to enter the country—is now open and will run until July 8, 12:00 noon (GMT +8). The Demo Day will take place on July 27, from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. (GMT +8).
Alibaba Cloud welcomes startups from any country, industry, and that are operating at any stage.
Startups that take part in the Demo Day may win the following prizes:
- USD 60,000 in Alibaba Cloud credits.
- 1-on-1 technical support for setup and migration.
- Connections to top VCs in Southeast Asia and China.
- Profiles published in English and Chinese by KrASIA and 36Kr Global, and other publicity opportunities.
The program has also supported participating startups by sharing their stories through video features and profile articles.
The selection process begins after the registration portal closes. Judges include representatives of Alibaba Cloud, venture capitalists, and research experts from 36Kr Global. They will evaluate each company’s deck when selecting startups for the Demo Day. The full selection criteria is available on Alibaba Cloud x KrASIA Global Startup Accelerator’s official website.

- Main point of contact’s details, including full name, mobile number, and business email address
- Your startup’s funding stage
- PDF of your corporate deck
