Singapore’s DocDoc partners with Kaitaiming to tap Chinese market

The company will be KTM’s exclusive partner in Southeast Asia.

Singapore’s DocDoc announced that it has formed a partnership with Kaitaiming Technology (KTM) to take its services to China, according to a statement issued on Tuesday.

DocDoc will be the exclusive provider of doctor discovery services to China’s insurance companies on the KTM platform in Southeast Asia, Hong Kong, and South Korea. In turn, policyholders of insurance companies using KTM will gain access to telemedicine care that leverages DocDoc’s AI-powered platform.

“China is the world’s most exciting insurance market,” said DocDoc’s CEO and co-founder Cole Sirucek in a statement. “DocDoc’s AI-powered doctor discovery service is ideally suited to serve China’s massive unmet need for consumers looking for high-quality affordable care. This partnership has the potential to impact the entire ecosystem. We are delighted to be partnering with KTM to be its exclusive doctor discovery service provider in Asia and to improving the delivery of care for policyholders throughout China.”

Operating in eight countries with more than 23,000 doctors in its network, DocDoc combines AI functionality, telemedicine, and digital third-party administrator services into a single platform.
