Xpeng targets 50% overseas sales share

Xpeng plans to increase overseas sales to 50% of its total within five years as domestic demand slows. The Guangzhou-based automaker will launch five new EV models in Australia over the next six months and is exploring markets including Brazil, Saudi Arabia, Japan, and South Korea. President Brian Gu said the company may pursue local production to bypass import tariffs.
