Wingtech sues Nexperia over control

Wingtech Technology has sued Nexperia and five other entities in a Chinese court, seeking RMB 8 billion, or USD 1.18 billion, for economic losses. In a May 22 filing, Wingtech alleged that its control over the Dutch chipmaker remains restricted. The dispute follows a temporary seizure of Nexperia by the Dutch government in September.
