Pop Mart moves to trademark "Lafufu"

Pop Mart is moving to trademark “Lafufu,” a viral spoof of its Labubu dolls, as part of a broader push to rein in fakes and reclaim brand control. The move follows a counterfeit sweep in Yiwu and the seizure of about 63,000 infringing items by Shanghai customs in the first half of 2025.
