China starts mass production of Kunlong aircraft

China’s AG600 “Kunlong” amphibious aircraft has entered mass production after receiving certification from the country’s civil aviation authority. Developed by AVIC, the 60-ton aircraft is touted as the world’s largest of its kind by takeoff weight and is designed for firefighting and emergency rescue missions.
