Zhihu narrows loss in Q1, turns adjusted profit

Zhihu reported Q1 2025 revenue of RMB 729.7 million, down 24% YoY, as it refocused operations and trimmed costs. Gross margin rose to 61.8%, and net loss narrowed 93.9% to RMB 10.1 million. Adjusted net income reached RMB 6.9 million, marking Zhihu’s first-ever Q1 non-GAAP profit since its IPO.
