Midea Medical's subsidiary Wandong Medical, a leading Chinese medical imaging firm, has signed a joint venture agreement with Brazil's VMI Group to locally develop and manufacture MRI, CT, and catheterization lab equipment. Building on 15 years of collaboration, the partnership aims to strengthen Brazil's high-end medtech capabilities and drive expansion into the Latin American market.
