Over in the United States, the Super Bowl is a big deal. It’s the National Football League’s annual playoff championship game, and a lot of effort goes into designing the ads that run during the event.
This year’s Super Bowl had plenty of ads for companies that offer crypto services. The result? A 280% boost in downloads for crypto apps, just from a handful of 30-second plugs.
Something similar is taking place in Bangkok, with one particular exchange being featured on many, many billboards in high-traffic locations. Bitkub is now the largest exchange in Thailand, and there’s an interesting story behind how its founder, Topp Jirayut Srupsrisopa, went through a series of rapid changes to start the company.
